'The Crow' Brandon Lee

This is a pic i did for my weekly sketch in art class, the subject was "animal". Took me four hours, one just on the crow itself.

Was done using a HB pencil, and strangely enough an H too. I usually dont use anything but HB lead.

So heres the story behind this pic. i dont like my art teacher.... all shes good for is telling you if your art looks good or bad and supplying the supplies. She dosnt like abstract and if you dont have a clear enough border, she'll cut your mark in half. i had never had her till this year, but i had heard the stories... and now i know they're true. so, she gave us the subject "animal", and animal is already hard for me to do, especially birds, so i decided that if im in her art class i should try to challenge myself, so i decided to try a crow. i love crows by the way, they live till their about 20, which is long for an animal, and they're not stupid, they know where to get food, and they creep people out! anyway, i decided that since i was gonna draw a crop i might as well draw brandon lee, i mean c'mon, hes just soooooo pretty! thats right i called a guy pretty! i love the movie, and the tradgedy behind it its creepy and eerie!
